Shambles if true.

So utterly one eyed of the ECB.

Months before the World Cup iT20.

He'll earn loads of money. It probably does him a favour.

But England's middle order now looks something like Ian Bell and a bunch of 20 year olds.

Just a year ago he was busy playing some of the most phenomenal Test innings of all time.

Never trusted in Bell either. Last summer was the only time [and it was at home] when he has produced when we really needed it.

I imagine the truth about the whole sorry shambles of the Ashes tour will come out now. I cannot believe that things could have gone so badly wrong without some sort of major falling out behind the scenes.

The ECB need to understand that apart from winning cricket matches the English cricket fan wants to be entertained. They've just got rid of England's most entertaining batsman. People might not like KP as a man but when he came out to bat, fans sat up in anticipation.

Without replacing him with someone else who can take apart a bowling attack and entertain a crowd, I for one won't be quite so interested in watching England's cricket team.

Then again I keep turning up at Home Park scratch

Cook should be sacked as captain first and foremost before the ECB start to point fingers. Great batsman just not a good captain.

ECB are not going about change in the right way and if they do indeed appoint Giles what was the point in pushing Flower out the door when those two have been invovled in the ashes series of past too.

Listened to Goffy ripping into all of them today giving KP's side of things, he made a case, as with it would seem all governing bodies everywhere, politics before performance.

If the story in the paper today is correct than Cook should be sacked now and not given the option of resignation.

In short it was pietersen had a disagreement with cook that it was performances that needed to be worked on not fitness and commitment. I back KP on this one as many under performed including him and thats what the squad should have worked to improve not fitness and commitment.

Moeen Ali has been picked for the WC T20.

I like Ali, his record in County Cricket is excellent and he could be a decent solution for a spot in the Test side.

His record in T20 is mediocre however; he is a terrible pick for the WC T20.
