So this is what being a ATD keyholder is all about. I can see now why there's never ATD elections for this role.  But if you need an assistant!!!

I think a tongue would be much more effective than any key..........

Plympton man rebailed as police continue knicker and key inquiry

A MAN arrested on suspicion of burglary has been rebailed by police until May.

The 55-year-old, from Plympton, was arrested after detectives launched an investigation into a number of “serious offences” involving items which were described as “trophies”.

Investigators said they were keen to trace the owners of a pair of women’s knickers and a key.

Police said they were investigating a number of serious offences stretching over a considerable period of time in the Plympton area. It is understood the inquiries centre around properties which have been entered and items stolen – including women’s underwear.

During the investigation police located a pair of pink knickers with a Paisley design. They are women’s sized 8 to 10 and are from Peacocks store. They were recovered by police on September 4, 2013.

A silver Yale-style key, probably fitting a PVC door has also been found.

Lead investigator, Det Insp Mike Cooper from South and Central Plymouth CID, said officers wanted to hear from anyone who may own the items or believe they were taken from their property.

Anyone who has information which could assist police with their investigation should call Det Con Rachel Harris on 101 quoting EP/13/919 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

The man arrested has been bailed until May 13.
