Herald doesn't give any clues, just a few comments from the 'hard working gentleman' about Sutherland. No real mention of the 5 trialists - is it decision day tomorrow?

El Presidente suggested on the other side that 1 new player (Sutherland) would sign before the Torquay game, the other (Darren Purse?) prior to the Northampton one.

As it is clear we are crying out for a commanding and experienced Centre Back it may well be the case Fletcher will have to run with what we have got at the back until he can secure "the right player", Purses loan deal with Yeovil ends just before the Northampton game.

I hope he can be as inspiring a name as the unknown bloke we've just signed from Blackpool.
