"There was a big costume drama involving lots of bible characters which was quite entertaining and we were focusing on what answers The Bible can hold for us.

1.1
And the Lord spoke unto the Brent saying 'Go forth into the land of the cider and pasty and lead the people of Plymouth into the promised land of the Championship'.
1.2
And the Brent replied saying 'But Lord, I am but a reluctant bidder. My cup does not runneth over for the purchase of players who can do such deed'.
1.3
And the Lord said unto Brent 'My son, believe in the Lord your God and the good people of the Council and ye shall be provided with the land necessary to carry forth the Lord's work.'
1.4
And so it came to pass that the Anti Brent, the Ginger, having been exposed as the devil whilst breaking bread with city planners was banished to the land of Kernow. His supporters Administratus Brendon and the dark force Ridders were forced by the Almighty to sit at the table of the Brent and the miracle of the Golden Ticket was achieved by the reluctant one.
2.1
And the Brent was a modest Brent. He seeked advice and he seeked help and the Lord provided him the assistance needed with the disciples - St Richard of the Finance, St David of the Retail and
St Peter of the Consortium. And it came to pass that the Board was born.
2.2
But the children of Plymouth were not all happy at what they were seeing and they looked to rise against the reluctant one. But the Lord smiled upon his chosen one and provided high priests to sit twixt people and Board and the Reverends Webb and Newell took their place in the Boardroom and their status was assured.
2.3
Erstwhile the fare served to the children of Plymouth was not a good fare. The Fletch was a good man, a hard working man, an honest man. But his toils did not bring the fruit to bare and the Brent went forth to the lands of the north and returned with a granite man from the Shez tribe.
2.4
And it came to pass that the Shez needed the food of the North to retain his strength and could not settle in the land of pasty and cider and the wisdom of Solomon was given unto the Brent who allowed the Shez to travel great distances to maintain the happiness of the Shez.
3.1
And true to the word of the Lord, the Brent did receive gold, frankincense, myrrh and with the provision of tracts of neighbouring land from the Councilites enabled the dream of the Higher place.
3.2
But the children of Plymouth were not excited by the dream of the Brent. The Higher place was complete with places of ice, places of screens, places of food that was fast and made not provision for the success and growth of the people
3.3
And the Lord was not a happy Lord saying unto the Brent 'you have failed your Lord. The Lord is an angry God and you will be punished to experience the tears of your people.'
3.4
The Lord was a truthful Lord and took from the Brent his 32 places of travellers rest.
3.5
And the Brent was not a happy Brent and said unto the people of Plymouth 'But there is no Plan of alternative'.
4.1
And the Reverends Webb and Newell did not approve. The Reverend Webb did sin and take of himself a wife of another man and disappeared unto the land of the Gloucester and the Reverend Newell did change his tune and with his little friend of the code began to sing from a different hymn sheet.
4.2
So it came to pass that once more the children of Plymouth were to hear little from up high. For another year they dwelt in the footballing wilderness whilst dreaming of the promised land.
4.3
And the Lord was to decide unto the future of the children of Plymouth. If the Lord could find but just one man true to lead the good people.......
And so we wait for the New Testament.
