The realistic amongst us will realise Sheridan has a huge job on his hands, quite possibly inheriting the worst squad in professional footballing history.

Fletcher should have been sacked in October, a huge huge mess Sheridan has to clear up

Actually, I think it was quite possibly Fletcher who inherited that. As bad as our team that he left us with was, it wasn't as bad as the bunch that Reid was sacked from.

Fletcher or Edgar Davids would probably have a close run tie for that title.

Fletch inherited a rather small squad, admittedly some were being paid far too much. Not enough that he wasn't able to go and make a dozen or so signings. I reckon Sheridan would love to be able to sign a bunch of players, as opposed to a handful of loans.

Early days for Edgar but seems to be doing ok with what I suspect are far smaller resources than Fletch had.

Those clowns can't include Webb as he was quite clear today that Fletcher would have lost that game. It's just a shame that he wasn't able to persuade Brent of his opinion months ago.

How could anybody claim that a champagne socialist is a fickle creature, creating opinions and endorsing them depending on which way the wind blows. What a strange world we live in.

Hang on a minute Sheridan, did'nt have to take the job on he could have said "I don't think this is achievable Mr Brent thanks for the offer" but he accepted and said he thinks he can do it and he rightly predicted we would have to win 50% of the remaining games to stay up. However I think he probably drove home last night saying to himself "oh feck, this is going to be tough" I fear that both the Wycombe and Accrington results will cost us dear especially against two very poor sides. It's possibly going to the last game - hang on boys and girls, not for the faint hearted.

we will probably match last season and stay up by a point at best. I hope then James Brent does the right thing and gives john the funds to build a squad that can be challenging for play offs next season.

I believe John will keep us up by its not going to be pretty.

We need points soon, the run in at the end of the season is all against top half and play off chasing teams. We need the likes of Reid and co to ned in fast and score some goals.
