This info came out at the Senior Greens meeting yesterday - but we were sworn to secrecy. I didn't even tell my cat.

I reckon he'll be on the bench at best.

That was some slight knock he had! Hate to see what would happen if he got clattered!

I hope he plays. I think it was a calf strain rather than a knock. He looked a potential class act in his 20 odd minute cameo performance.

If he only plays for 20 minutes each match and scores each time he will be a good signing.

Some are just not up to the rigours if professional football. It's not easy to make the switch from semi-pro and amatuer, especially for a 32 year old. The intense training regime, the number of matches, the faster pace of the game. The fireman will be back on blue watch before this season's out.

Never thought that the prospect of a 32 yr old fireman from the League of Wales being fit, would be a reason for turning up today - but it is!

Will have to make sure I'm three parts pissed by 3 o'clock, mind.
