I'm eating some 'Fudges' crackers & a pot of Tesco salsa, which is still on offer at two pots for £2.

Then I'm going to have a bath.

Then I'm going to a party in Westminster Cathedral, with a finger buffet & pop-up pub (which I'm excited about).

My wedding reception was in a church, true story. Looking back that was a bit odd.

Charlie - far too frequently.

Peggy - that's one of the two suspects.

Me - groan.

Today, I have bought a duvet from Primark for £5.

And I feel a little queasy (different queasy to this morning).

Now - where's all the discussion about the tog rating of my new duvet what I got last year? Sainsburys basic, it was (still is). I'm sure it cost more than £5.

In other news, I've discovered the secret to a totally happy and relatively compliant four year old: give her a stick to carry.

Might have cauliflower cheese for tea tonight.

And I might watch No Country for Old Men again.

Or I might eat and do something else entirely. Free spirit, me.

(Oh - and I'll have to get some more bananas tomorrow.)

Made industrial strength chilli. Have had jacket spuds baking slowly for 90 minutes to go with it.

The only problem is i've finished all my cider Crying or Very sad

There is a bottle of rose wine in the fridge or my home-brew cider which is 12% drunken

Decisions, decisions scratch

Went for pasta with a mountain of veg (mostly but not exclusively tomatoes) instead.

Going for Before the Devil Knows You're Dead instead.

Don't think so. He's not on the front of the DVD.

Didn't watch it, anyway.

(I decided it was a bit late to start watching a film nearly two hours long, so instead I carried on with my second viewing of the complete Sopranos ... and watched two 50 minute episodes Embarassed )

My first composition has just been performed at the Jazz festival.

I understand that Jimmy Saville will be giving it a spin on Top of the Pops next week.

Just been around the Holocaust exhibition in the Imperial War Museum.

Incredibly disturbing. It's made us all feel very sad.

I was thinking of a totally different film. I've seen before the devil knows you're dead. It's got a British actor, knocking on a bit now, can't remember his name though, and wossisface Seymour Hoffman.

Quite a good filum it is too.

Albert Finney he's called.

On Friday, I had to go over to Plymstock to fetch a parcel from the big post office place. On the way, sitting in traffic on Exeter Street (or it might have been a bit further on) a woman crossed the road in front of me. She was dressed as Father Christmas. Hat and everything.

I'd forgotten about this until today. Think I was in shock.

Got absolutely soaked to the skin yesterday morning, despite both wearing a raincoat and using an umbrella. The dress I was wearing still isn't quite dry.

Brighter today, though.

Not just brighter, but positively sunny and nice sunny

Parsnip soup for dinner today. I'm eating it out of my Homer Simpson bowl.

(That way, the Homer Simpson bowl won't be back in the cupboard by the time the small people arrive for their special half term adventure day tomorrow, and so the day won't start with a massive row about who gets to have their cereal in the Homer Simpson bowl. Strategy and planning, innit.)
