I had large cod & chips from the Bovey Tracey Fish bar tonight..... homemade beer batter AND tartar sauce....

All washed down with a few pints of ice cold Scrumpy Jack.

Is that a boast or a confession?

I had roast duck, chips & peas chez moi. Washed down with half a bottle of red. I might finish the rest of the bottle because I'm worth it.

No I'm not - I'm elsewhere.

Very little is mundane at the moment.

Some cider-related mundanity...

Currently sitting in the glorious warmth of the glorious beauty of Dubrovnik & just poured myself what seemed to have been a Croatian cider...... only for it to be apple-flavoured lager.

Shocking.

A litre of £2 wine fron Zagreb to wash the taste away....

I haven't done much Mundane posting recently, so best I bring you up to date. The trouble is, today's been anything but Mundane.

It started with a £1600 tax rebate. Ta muchly.

Then I bought a car. Total Bargain.

And to end the day I had an email offering me a job with a salary even more obscene than the one I currently trouser. Going to meet with these good people on Wednesday next to discuss matters further.

So, not really a mundane day at all. All that's missing is a lottery win.

A cheese and onion pasty throws me into an exostentialist quandry.

Heading down to Cornwall tomorrow for the week. Forecast for tomorrow is wetter than ZeeZan with a green flag so I hope it gets better as the week goes on.

I know you will all miss me and I would love to be able to answer all of your questions in person, but for now I'll just say, competetive budget, bleeds green, works his socks off, look how far we've come? You're all a bunch of cnuts, £750 for a pen Peter Reid couldn't find use for? The new kit will grow on you, another first in football, took lots of positives from the 6-0 defeat, current International was going to sign but his Mrs preferred Macclesfield town centre, their fourth was borderline offside and the new programme feature has proved really popular with one or two comments overheard in the fanfest about what a right James Blunt the person was who sanctioned the changes, and James Blunt is ace!

So if I don't see you through the week, I'll see you through the window!
