Cocko5's thread gone - I think it was called "Flogging The Dead Horse"

Saltash Green's thread too - that was titled "Dubious Things I can Say On The Internet"

Where have they gone? I cannot believe that this forum would move such profound threads by such esteemed posters. Frankly, I am disgusted. It's well village!

Cocko5 didn't use a proper email address so was suspended/deleted. He was only allowed back on by accident.

Saltash green asked for it to be deleted.

I performed neither of these actions, but have lent some seriously nice moral support to those who did.

COS OTHERWISE THEY MIGHT FEEL LONELY

sorry fer caps.

It was a sentence which was important to me.

Can we assume from this that if a poster starts a thread and doesn't like the direction it takes, that poster can ask the Mods to delete it and they will oblige, no questions asked, without giving an explanation to the rest of us?

Doesn't seem right to me, if that's the case.

Do I take it from that his thread about threats was a load of baloney then?

I wager £3.75 that within two weeks, Saltash Green will be back under a new username. The process will follow that he will deny who he is when challenged, will then admit to it and then start silly threads about people he's fallen out with on the internet.

I would have rather seen that thread locked and kept for posterity. Maybe the mods could create a folder for stupid threads made by stupid people.

I don't mind being in there - I've been stupid before and I'll probably be stupid again. Admitting your stupidity is the first step.
you should try it

We've got one.

All posts that are "deleted" go there, nothing is completely deleted. It's just moved.

I wasn't online late last night but having just caught up Dane requested for his account to be deleted and we have done so.

Parents (plural?) Not heard much about Mum?

Dad... I think Sensible Green is going to be a little upset if I ask for his sons hand?

A little bit of hair I could overlook (maybe?).

But a dumb broad....? Never!

I'm not actually that hairy. I will one day tell you the story of my strange and marvellous nickname. The J stands for Jesus by the way.

You wouldn't want a dumb broad showing you up then Rickler? I doubt you would get past the Mum test though as she has little time for pretencious pricks.

I told you I was Jennifer but I knew you weren't paying attention Mouldy. Too busy eating the knickers off the washing line.

Pretentious...?

Moi?

"Pretencious" is that a word? A portmanteau perhaps? How pretenzshuz was that?

And Sensy...

If 'Mum' has no time for pretencious pricks, it almost guarantees your little willy didn't conceive Hairy...
