Not rated at all by the Burnley fans. My favourite is the top comment, but these are a few excerpts of his performance summary (the numbers are his mark out of ten):

"MacDonald 3 Looks like a pork pie on legs scuttling around or a Mister Man. Mister Waste of a Wage.His totally incompetent performance made it so much harder for the other players."

"Macdonald 4 poor why is he here?"

"MacDonald 3 Never ever a championship player"

"Macdonald 4 - rubbish"

"macdonald - 4 worked hard but thats all he has in his locker. he won't make it at championship level."


Sounds like the answer to our problems!

Wonder how they'd rate Chadders and Fireman Sam and co ?

So other fans do criticise their team and players. I thought by reading some Argyle fan sites that it was the preserve of Janners and seriuosly affected team morale. Go figure.

Thing is the Burnley fans are probably right as they are used to a higher level of football - but of course we are in league 2 so he may be ok for us. Reality is we have Feeney and Chadwick, would rather have Pilgrim Pete up front than those two clowns.

Only if he takes his hat off.

He's got a big head so if he takes his hat off he might nod one or two in at the far post, providing of course if he gets any decent crosses.

Just sums up the current situation at Home Park, a player who hardly gets a game with Burnley doesn't want to play for Argyle.

He hasn't stated that publicly and that's not the reason that's been publicly given.

Couple that with MacDonald's Twitter comments about the club and I'd come to the conclusion that the wages/contract that Argyle were offering wasn't good enough for MacDonald and his adviser (Agent).

Or to have it right, you read twitter saw he said big couple of days and like the kids on there assume he was talking about Argyle.
