Yeah, and I loved Jean Le Florette even though I can't speak Italian.
I think that pretensiousness and ignorance should determine our film viewing. Don't you?

You win CA, I've run out of languages.

Since here in Taffland thay are always saying that there aren't any swear words in the Welsh language I've invented a phrase which might fit the bill.

Fuckie offio. It has a certain Celtic twang, don't you think? I'll put over to the Welsh language people for a comment.

In the meantime, goodbyio.

There is a welsh equivalent to fek off which I think translates as 'go scratch'. I don't know how its spelt but it sounds like "Curri Gravi". They do nick a lot of english words, so your new swear word is valid Very Happy

We were intrigued a few years ago around St David's to see roadside farmers' stall advertising "tato newi" for sale.

I put this into the Welsh to English translator and here's what it said:-

"Cay he covers mouth , I go go I ffwcio he covers cat up ' group head ol"

Seems about right.

Cachau bant
and
Ffwcia oma

They've got so many swear words they got two different ones with the same very rude meaning.

Not sad at all I'm off to learn a few to punt at the Gogs.
