so all the talking is now over,the players have trained hard and they have also plodded around the pitch in the Pre-Season games.

The first game of the 2012/2013 season is nearly here.

What do people think the outcome will be Vs Portsmouth,the size of the crowd and how many Pompey will bring down ?.

Well the pre season was'nt "er you know to bad" according to Fletcher today, so we may keep it down to 2 or 3 nil to them. We will loose.

Pompey are quite simply classes above us so keeping it down to 4 or 5 nil to them would be a major achievement. However....

Actually in this case I think its called profiteering.Gorgeous george may have put a few pence on the price of a pint,as might have inflation,but the price of a pint of lager in the business lounge has gone up 60pence,and similarly in the far post club.Not James Brent's fault?..I think it is.

So,can we assume that the Portsmouth team for next week will be made up of kids and others (reserves) after the clear out down there ?.

Or do they have ok-ish options coming in to this match.

Pompey have no players, are going tits up and have been in the shit longer than we have. On that basis...Pompey 6 - Argyle 1 (own goal!).

I'm not sure how but they seem to be able to attract some decent players still, Izzy Mcleod has played for them in friendlies as has Conor Clifford on loan from Chelsea, which leads me nicely to my awesome plan for Tuesday night.

So we are being really helpful to Pompey in their moment of crisis, their website still says a message will be played asking all fans to sing the Pompey chimes, so why not go one step further and let them have a couple of our players on loan immediately and allow them to play on Tuesday! Imagine our defence having to face Feeney and Chadwick cheers

We could still pay their wages, it would be worth it just to offload them.

We should at least be able to guarantee a goalless draw, and if we still can't score ourselves in the match, we should be safe in the knowledge that 2 of their penalties will be taken by keen ornithologist strikers who seem to have been told that there are rare Amazonian green tits nesting in the back of the net, that they would not want to disturb.
