...from my operation. Thankyou for all the nice messages I got from you guys. Feel awful and in pain but it went well, and all over.

Good to hear that the operation is over. The pain should subside after 24 - 48 hours (usually the former). Take it easy!

See deaths from being put under are extremely rare. It's the following 24 hours you have to worry about, and remember not to fall asleep. That's when it usually happens.

My wife tells me that most deaths occur around 3am so just to piss her off my alarm goes off at 2.30am every night. It's worked so far. Sad thing is 30 years ago if I'd woken up at 2.30am so would she be but not by the alarm clock ringing in her ears. Perhaps only parts of you die at 3am when you get older.

Glad it went without incident.

Ignore Jock. Any man who spends his weekends feeding strong Scrumpy to Peppa Pig is clearly not to be trusted.

Take it easy, and make the most of the inevitable parental concern - by my reckoning you've got about a week to milk your mum and dad for as much stuff as possible - junk food, computer games, books, CD's etc - go for it!!

Peppa pig was on the shots long before I showed up. Its stressful being a cartoon pig apparently. Glad you're ok Cobi, but remember to show your scar on request to your female friends, they love a bit of rough.

About 30 years ago I was due to have a hernia operation. On the fateful day I was all prepared. I was shaved and getting nervous. Then the consultant came around and said, "Nah. That's not worth operating on. Go away." It's never troubled me since!

I didn't keep the shaved look. I discovered later that the top porn-stars are shaven. I could have made a fortune. My advice to you, Cobi, is to stay shaved. You never know when you may want to make a bit extra money when you're a student.

Wasn't shaven actually, to my surprise, as the cut was made at the base of the scrotum

and thanks for the other messages guys:)
