A question for Sandford Grecian:

How can someone who shows such exceptional musical taste also show such poor judgement when it comes to supporting a football team?

Due to a bad weather forecast for tomorrow, Marillion, Live at Sheffield City Hall is my lp choice, assuming the power stays on. Smile Can't decide whether its a classic though.

Not a classic album, as it's not released until next Monday, but the new Muse album, the second law can be listened to in full here:

Well worth a listen if you are a Muse fan.

How can you diss Lauryn Hill, with input from Mary J Blige and Carlos Santana, then go on to mention Annie Lennox? Throwaway pop frippery if ever I heard it!
As for Joni Mitchel, classic moments but listening to a whole album of hers is hard work, now Carole King on the other hand is a good singer but one of the best ever songwriters of all time;

Don't know about 'classic' - too new to qualify for that - but I'm currently listening to Sam Lee's "Ground of its Own". It's a quite superb reworking of old folk numbers. I'm not usually a fan of that but I'm so impressed!!

And anyone who says Joni Mitchell's "Blue" is hard work needs sending to a boot-camp - that'll learn him what hard work is.
