| I tried to listen to Thea Gilmour this morning. No ..... too predictable and cliched.
If you like your folk with a twist try the Sam Lee album that's up for the Mercury Prize. |

| Sandy, the posting of anything connected with the Broody Moos is a big no-no in my book! |

| The Magificent Moodies? Knecht, you then need to go In Search Of The Lost Chord, for Days Of Future are Passed, do this then yes you too could be On The Threshold Of A Dream, which you can then pass down To all Our Children's Children's Children. I guess it's just A Question Of Balance, but as Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, and you don't have to be that Long Distant Voyager, as it can be easily achieved in The Present, so no need to await The Other Side Of Life. In these Strange Times, as we rapidly approach December, I can indeed give you the Keys Of The Kingdom... Sur la Mer |

| Not long after it came out, a friend loaned me "In Search of the Lost Chord". I never got any further. I got a tin of varnish and painted both sides for his own good. Sixties so-called 'alternative' music at its worst. He is no longer a friend. I think they went downhill after the superb "Go Now". However, the folkie bit of my music listening has been very happy to find Mercury Prize nominated Sam Lee - who is expected at the Old Chapel in Calstock in the New Year. | I saw Feelgood at the old Palace not long before the lead singer died, they were a great live band who I have seen at least half a dozen times, not someone that I listen to at home much for some reason. _________________ THE PLYMOUTH ARGYLE ROLL OF DISHONOUR. THE M.7

| Bjork - Greatest Hits. I know she's not cool but neither am I. I think she's jolly super. I have three of her albums. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

Wilko Johnson is doing the rounds still these days but I keep missing his gigs, he is meant to do a brilliant show._________________ THE PLYMOUTH ARGYLE ROLL OF DISHONOUR. THE M.7
