£300k according to your local rag Merse. There could be add ons?

Yes I'm sure they pitched for a £400,000 sale and setteld for £300,00 spread over two years (avoids the club making a profit for the season and hence paying tax) and most likely a 20% cut of any further sell on profit that Posh make............all the usual prudent clauses that well run clubs factor in.

There's talk of Mark Ellis going to Crewe for £75,000 ~ that would be fabulous (if unlikely business) because he can't consistently pass a turd in my opinion, gets drawn out of position far too easily and goes to ground far too often for the modern game...........not a "Crewe" type player at all! As the acquisition of Brian Saah proved last summer there are far better players of technical ability available for free if you know where to look and if Ellis does depart that would complete the removal of him and Chris Robertson (to PNE for £65,000 last January) who were the least technically adept of a passing side last season.

Eunan O'Kane (of course) WILL accept the opportunity to move for £175,000 minimum and accrue the financial benfits to himself therein ~ even if that does mean going to Crawley..............he could do a lot better than them although playing for Sean O'Driscoll should be good for his further development.

Sky are suggesting that CIty are set to be losing first choice CB Troy Archibald Henville to Swindon (for a small fee). He is one of their out of contract players. The spine of their team is being removed (as last season)-
