Bollocks to Botham,the true highlight of that Leeds test was Boycs superb defensive,three hour 46.

I remember as an 11 year old watching Bob Willis through the window of Radio Rentals (one for the kids there) in town. There was a crowd of about 30, great scenes.

Mind you he's a bloddy miserable bugger bearing in mind his job is to fly around the world watching cricket.

I was in Oz when the Headingly test was on. There was plenty of vitriol in the pubs for Both and poms generally (being me) but plenty of beer together sorted that and allowed their grudging respect to show through.
