Three people with PAFC connections being mentioned as possible replacement for Wellens who departed today.

Derek Adams

Warren Joyce

Ian Holloway

Preston also looking for a new manager after sacking Alex Neil yesterday

At least Neil had been at PNE for several years whereas Salford seem to be the Watford of the lower leagues

As an aside, that's now two Managers sacked with day's of leading their team out at Wembley!

Cue Kylie-

"We should be so lucky, lucky lucky, lucky!"

Sadly, the Salford owners know a bit about football, so them hiring RL is about as likely as Sheff Utd avoiding relegation.

them sacking their manager shows how full of shit gary neville is. He recently tweeted about managers not being given time and sacked far too early and here he is sacking a guy who 4 months into the job has them 9th and won the pizza trophy for last season only a few weeks ago.

Well they have plenty of experience-they make Abramovich look positively reluctant to change
