Chelsea sack manager Frank Lampard

Chelsea have sacked manager Frank Lampard after 18 months in charge, with former Paris St-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel expected to replace him.

Lampard, 42, leaves with the club ninth in the Premier League after last week's defeat at Leicester City, having won once in their past five league matches.

I have always thought he got the job to soon.

he did a great job last season when Chelsea where made to use their youth players and they had the core to build something special for the first time in years. Then of course the transfer ban gets lifted and Chelsea resume their usual spend multi millions on players they dont really need and destroyed that crop of youngsters and the squad harmony at the same time.

Frank i am sure will find another club sooner rather than later.

Maybe he could go back to Derby because Rooney has fecked it up there.
