Give the coaching team some credit, they obviously knew McFadzean was not the best defending and I don’t think it was a coincidence that both goals came from that flank

2 great goals and some good saves from Cooper on a crappy pitch (by today's standards)

Must have had some rain up there to make the pitch so bad.

Heung Min Son would have been been pleased with that first goal by Lewis...too quick for the defenders
Looks like an excellent loan

We rode our luck a fair bit last night and got away with it. We're still very much in a relegation scrap and we've played 2 or 3 games more than many of our relegation rivals.  This season we've lost more than we've won and that will continue.

Argyle need 7 wins and a couple of draws from the next 23 games to be assured of avoiding relegation and i'm fairly sure that the squad is capable of achieving that. No room for complacency though especially remembering the disastrous last month or so of the Adams regime and bearing in mind the amount of away games to come, notwithstanding last nights result. For all of the justifiable euphoria [from myself included] at winning at Sunderland, they are very poor at home and it can fairly be said that Argyle will face tougher tests against apparently less illustrious opposition. One game at a time, not getting carried away etc etc-signs are good but much hard work to be done.

It could be argued that if we hadnt lost six in row we'd almost certainly be in the play off positions
