Mayor was as ineffective as every other Argyle player today.

That said, when Argyle are playing well and having watched him all season, almost everything goes through Mayor even with him not setting the division on fire. He's joint top on assists anyway but the thing with Mayor is he will very often assist the assister - i.e. play Fadz in to cross the ball.

Agree though that it doesn't help when Lowe talks about him in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo.

Mayor hasnt been anywhere near as good as he was for Bury last season. He is a selfish player who would rather run into 3-4 players than pass to a player free unless its macfadzean and he often wastes opportunities, whether he does that cause we have a weak strike force or not ryan needs to have words with him so he starts playing balls through for our strikers.

Many bury fans said when lowe came ere that all of his success on the pitch came from one man working in the engine room jay o'shea and we missed out on him in the summer.

Carey, Lammy and Ladapo were all better than what we have. The squad isn't terrible but it's canny knack of going missing whenever we get a chance to get in the playoffs speaks volumes.

'Tis true.

Consistently inconsistent.

Taylor scoring 20 goals was a stupid comment too.

It was, and it seemed so when he said it. I'm still confident in RL to deliver, and putting down his hyperbole to inexperience and possibly being a gobby scouser. We will see - who knows.

Ryan is still learning despite his early successes at Bury i believe he can take the club forward but until he replaces that defence and learns to adopt a plan B-Z hes going to have a stop start time here.

doesnt help we have fans who kiss his arse 24/7 on twitter especially after we lost 4 feckin 0 to exeter Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

A bad result in the grand scheme of things. Oh well, shit happens.

Let's hope the lads step up Vs Morecambe on Saturday.
