| His agent I assume is probably laughing at the offer of £800 a week for 18 months, but you never know. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| Isnt this the guy that refuses to speculate? Could be a good coup if true but it makes you wonder if he has any gas left in the tank if hell come to us. Let's just hope he does and it's fond memories of Argyle that will make him sign for us. |

| His career seems to have stalled when he should as a striker be at his absolute peak.
Goal scoring aside he was always a clever player. He’d be a great addition. |

| Would be good if he came back . But can't see us paying the wages he would like or be able to compete with other teams coz we never pay decent money. |

Probably announced purely to divert fans attention from a shit window. Like Ears says, Adams doesn't normally discuss speculation. |

| Will you be trying to make any free agent signings?
DA: I have made an offer for Joe Mason, to take him in on the transfer market. The offer is with him and his agent. We will wait to see if that is acceptable.
Okay. Are you hopeful on that?
DA: I don’t know.
Would that be just until the end of the season?
DA: No, longer than that.
He’s somebody that you feel would be a good addition to your squad.
DA: Yes
What would he bring to the squad do you think?
DA: Well, he has got vast experience of playing in the Championship. We will see where the negotiations go.
Are you hoping to get something sorted out sooner rather than later?
DA: There is a deadline on Sunday. |

| He will be taking a pay cut to come here if he is tempted to come back even if its just to the end of the season.
I feel he will only take up Del's low offer if another club doesnt come in for him. |

| This is just adams/hallett/30% pretending to be ambitious after the utter shiteness of the Jan transfer window didn't go unnoticed by most normal Argo fans. Obviously he'll go elsewhere.

Adams has been down this road before where he has highlighted the clubs inability to compete with a lot of others in this league. But I like it when he does it. I wish he'd do it more because it pokes the Board and Chairman in the ribs and highlights the fact that to realistically do anything in this league, we need more investment in the team. |

HALLETT OUT Agree Freathers, only the green tinted mugs will be excited about signing an ex player whose career has stalled. |

| Let's be honest how many other players have we had come here, who's careers have stalled cause no one else has wanted them.
There's not many of the current squad that would get games in other teams in the league.
Apart from Ruben,Carey, Taylor and Freddie,
Rest are a proper bunch of missfits |

| Someone has suggested on Twitter that he has had 2 better offers- not sure how true that is (but probably likely). |

The Chairman has already come out and said "its not just about results on the pitch", so Adams can be assured any digs will be ignored by the Brent twins.

Rest are a proper bunch of missfits And of those 4, Ruben couldn't get in the team earlier in the season and Taylor has just had his first start for months! Plymouth Argyle-football's equivalent of The Undatables. The Club motto should be "Plymouth-the player's last resort" I suspect Mason has been made a fairly low offer, just so the Club can say "Well we tried" |

| I remember when we pretended to show an interest in Adam Le Fondre, who was banging them in for Reading a few years ago. I reckon Rotherham are still laughing at the £100,000 we offered, he eventually went to Reading for over 3 times that. |
