Fook me,the second round of the league cup,dizzy heights indeed! Couldn't give a shit what team Bristol City put out,they played some of their squad players last season,turned Argyle over 5-0 and eventually reached the semi finals so credit where it's due for an excellent result.Think that's only the second time that Argyle have won at Ashton Gate in my years of support,the other was when Fallon scored a couple when we were pushing for the play offs in the CCC-brilliant day was that and i was very well oiled by evenings end.Well done to DA and the players,need to continue the good form in the league now starting at Coventry on Saturday.

A good win albeit against a very under strength Brizzle team. But it should give the lads a boost for Coventry.

AbNormal Alans Brief Synopsis:

Brekky at 11, got a freebie as Chelski Andy sorted the owner out with some phone stuff( nice noncey posh lager with the breakfast).
Missed our bus to Parkway so had to get a proper taxi firm to get us there.
Some dubious games of pool in the Seven Stars with a twat called GreenJock followed by a taxi to the Orchard Inn.
A fine couple of hours indulging in Black Rat until the owner asked us to leave (no idea why, as there was no hassle at all).
Wobbled over to Turnip land and amazingly we hung on to win.
Managed a couple renditions of " Ian Newells a wanker" and successfully groomed some flag display waving bobblehat in the ways of Brent hatred.
Topped off with a good slanging match with the train manager as we arrived at Parkway (think he was a Brent luvver).

Belgian iced buns and liquid apple for sugar intake this morning.
