OUR Carabao Cup first round tie against Bristol City is confirmed for Tuesday, August 14.

Kick-off, as we face City in the opening round of the competition for the second season in a row, will be at 7.45pm.

The Robins have also confirmed ticket pricing. It will be £11 for adults, £6 for seniors and under-19s. Argyle supporters will be housed in the Atyeo stand, where we were last season.

We will let the Green Army know when those tickets are available from our Ticket Office.

We don't get planes down here anymore, Tringy. Not since Sutton Harbour put their oar in. There's a few armed forces helicopters in the skies, and immediately everyone lies prostrate on the floor, clapping. It's all a bit Michael Moorcock.

And so they should to honour those who trained for 4 years + , got average pay, saw the world, flew the flag and saved the country from disaster. 3 cheers for the Fleet Air Arm - Hip hip hooray, Hip hip hooray, Hip hip hooray

In fact, that's it for a while, off to the ocean coast with a smile on my face, walk a bit, snap a bit, pen a few verses, discuss the ways of the sea, universe and everything, and a swim in heavenly waters.
