It's like this...

I arrived at Argyle when Oldham drew 0-0 with us and got promoted...
Their star player was, Andy Lockhead...
That was 1973/4 season...

I'd been to a few games before...

Point is this...

Our family holidays were always at Challabrough! Robert Daniels son was one of the 1st people to have a ski-jet...

Argyle had just reached the semi-final of the League Cup... We had Steve Davy... We beat Birmingham, QPR etc., Who were all 1st Division,
Away from home!

For the younger people on this forum:- We lost in a 2 leg semi-final to Man City, who went on to beat Wolves in the final!

Wolves ended up in the bottom division but... They were a great club in the 1970's!

Argyle then appointed a young pup called Tony Waiters...

Who the feck are you?

A goalkeeper from Blackpool! (F#[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] off!)

Read the history...

Unless the city can pick up and love itself... We'll be b(r)ent over...

The major excitement nowadays seems to be booing Exeter. Pretty tragic.

Being pedantic, Waiters was already manager when Argyle got to the league cup semi final.

Sad reflection of the fan base.
