| Passed away aged 82. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42773347 Excellent one club man as a player, captained England, was a pretty good manager at Bolton and Leeds and always came across as a really pleasant bloke. My abiding memory of him as a commentator was when he reported on the first game at Valley Parade after the fire disaster-the studio man asked him if anything had happened and Jimmy said that "Hendrie has just set Valley Parade alight again with a run down the wing", an inadvertent classic. | Don't remember him as a player but enjoyed his commentary/analysis in his later years on radio 5. RIP |
