Watching City tear into United last night and snatch a memorable victory in a fantastic stadium packed to the proverbial rafters was both enjoyable and hard to stomach. Wasn't so long ago that they were looking upward to us both league position and attendance wise, however, they landed themselves a proper benefactor with vision and ambition and we landed Green Jim.....Merry Christmas Neutral

Green Jims vision and ambition for personal pension provision knows no bounds, the pots in safe hands.

Going on the highlights I saw (about 12  minutes are so) , Man Utd were a tad unlucky and on another day would have put those chances away.  If it had gone to extra time, they could have sneaked it ?.

Congrats to the turnips where congrats are due though, they had more fight and spirit it seemed in the 90+ minutes of play.

They will get beat by Man City in the Semi-Finals I expect, but make some more dosh from this competition along the way.

I think the figures GC posted reinforce what a lot of us already know that corporate income goes hand in hand with attendances and success on the pitch. Good luck to them in the prem. shame it's not Rovers, City are an horrible lot.

Sort of agree, there has to be a link. Invest in the squad/infrastructure/stadium and the fanbase will undoubtedly grow, it isn't rocket science.

Two clubs heading in very different directions at a fast accelerating pace. But that's the way the brentophiles like it.

Don't think City are planning an ice rink next to their stadium though are they?

... and loads more dosh. Financially and wealth wise Lansdown is way way above JB. Different League completely. Lansdown sold under 5% of his stock in his stockbroker firm to raise almost £50 million.
