Was chatting to a colleague today about nicky law joining argyle but only staying for one season , I noticed his son was born in April 88, about the same time as law didn't play.
We lost 6 of the last 8 games. Coincidence ? Then he left for notts co that summer. Decent player and goal scoring record too.

Smile

Got a DVD somewhere with a few bits and pieces from the 1985/86 promotion season and one of the games was when Argyle beat Blackpool 3-1 towards the end of the season-Nicky Law and Garry Nelson can be seen quite clearly gobbing into each others faces. Maybe Smithy was impressed with the accuracy of Nicky's green gilbert and filed it away for future reference.
