Those pathetic 'serving suggestion' pictures on packets of food: I know it's a good idea to serve ice cream in a bowl, and to eat it with a spoon, and no, I didn't expect to find a bowl and spoon in there.

People who get out of cabs and talk very loudly, regardless of the time of night and how many people might be trying to sleep within yards of them.
