Lost 3-2 at home to Swansea today. Serves 'em right for not fielding a full strength team.Interesting stat from the game -Liverpool had 74% possession, which is virtually the same as the match against Argyle.

Just amplifies what I have seen from the two games. Liverpool were there for the taking. You don't win anything by camping in your own box, you just put off the inevitable. The Janner mentality was perfect for Jurgen. He knew we'd be happy to escape as plucky losers, and so it came to pass. And they'll sing songs about it. Village.

lol! How the feck does it amplify anything that you saw? If Liverpool had 74% of the possession, then it would seem that Swansea spent just as much time backing off and letting them have the ball as Argyle did. First of all it was the kids team [which anyway was as badly an ill-informed comment as anything that appeared in the nose-knocked-out-of-joint media]that was there for the taking, now apparently any team that Liverpool put out is of the same ilk. One point that may just be of relevance is that Swansea possess better players than Argyle, which would suggest that Argyle's failure to trouble the scorers was one of personnel rather than tactics. The South West Wales mentality of 26% possession must have completely foxed poor old Jurgen today, no doubt they'll be singing about it in the valleys tonight. How very Taffy village like.

They'll be singing because they won. We'll be singing because we lost. I would imagine Swansea have the odd talent that can break and score out of nothing. Argyle, plainly, do not. Surely tactic decisions are based on what personnel you have at our disposal.
It's quite clear you and I are miles apart on how games of football should be approached.  No big deal, just a difference. The points have been made. Savour your defeat while you can.
