Away fans are located in the Case Construction North Stand at one end of the stadium, where around 3,344 fans can be accommodated. If demand requires it then a portion of the East Stand can also be allocated. The view of the playing action, leg room, and facilities are all good.

Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson says the top of the table clash against Plymouth Argyle next weekend is massive game.

The two have led the way at the top of League Two all season and they go into the game at the Keepmoat next weekend, a game that is being shown live on Sky Sports, with Doncaster six points clear of second placed Plymouth with just eight games remaining and Ferguson knows the enormity of three points from the game.

"Next week is a cup final now," Ferguson told BBC Radio Sheffield .

"We win that and we are nine points ahead of them with seven games to go.

"We felt a little bit hard done by when we lost at their place so it is a massive game."

Plymouth became the first club this season to deny Doncaster scoring a goal when the two sides met at Home Park in December. The Pilgrims ran out 2-0 winners that day but Doncaster will want to keep their unbeaten home record intact when they meet next weekend. Doncaster are unbeaten at home this season and if they avoid defeat next Sunday, they will make it a calendar year without a home defeat.

titles pretty much doncasters now regardless of the result. i hope we still win as it takes us that step closer to having (p) before our name in the table.

Doncaster Rovers on the points needed

So one more game scrubbed off, and the points that 4th can get using their season average is 73.8, as we are on 78 they need to maintain that average then get 2 more wins all in the last 8 games.. plus a small matter of us having to lose every game as well...
Next Sunday potentially could take us 20 pts clear of 4th with 7 games to go, and I'm sure I'll still be reading, we need 3 more wins to be sure.. relax boys and girls, we are already promoted

I actually think we can get something out of this game, great fixture though 1st v 2nd with eight games to go, should be a good day out for everyone.

Oh God. I'm off next Sunday (convalescing after knee op) Wifey has already said that fried spicy chicken bits, garlic bread, and crispy garlic mushrooms and Stella Artois will be freely available on-tap whilst feet up on the pouffe watching SS1.

All the  3,344 seats allocated to us? and they will need a lot of coaches to move that lot

Referee for this game

Oliver Langford will be the referee for another high-profile Plymouth Argyle match.

Langford will take charge of the Pilgrims' top-of-the-table clash against League Two leaders Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday.

He was the referee for the previous meeting between the promotion rivals at Home Park in December.

Argyle won 2-0 and Langford sent-off Doncaster's James Coppinger in the 90th minute for violent conduct.

Langford was also the referee when Argyle drew 2-2 away to Portsmouth in a fiery League Two play-off semi-final first leg at Fratton Park last May.

He is among the 'select group two' category of referees who generally take charge of Championship matches.

Langford has shown 115 yellow cards and sent-off five players in 37 games this season.

Doncaster averages gates for home games is 5,606. The biggest gate were for the local derby with Grimsby at 10,084.

On their board they describe us as a non league team punching above our weight with only a couple of thousand fans!

I've gained a bit of a dislike for Plymouth this season. Would love to see them bottle it.

Yep. Another post on there says he doesn't think we will go up because we haven't been consistent enough. Seems they all have the same mentality as their keeper.

and it get worse

simple - take a leaf out of the Celtic fans' repertoire and hang an effigy of him from the rafters of the south stand (proper noose, not just a bit of old clothes line, mind) to be regarded with silent scorn for the duration of the match; cut it down, burn it and kick it round after the final whistle...

dunno why some folk have to make finding a solution to dealing with these things so difficult

Ferguson plans for table top clash

Doncaster Rovers have eight days between last Saturday's game at Leyton Orient and their next game,
However, Darren Ferguson is keen to balance the need to recover from recent games with staying in peak form ready for the next game.
As Ferguson explained to the Doncaster Star: "We gave them Monday off but Tuesday and Wednesday will be hard sessions. We’ve got to keep on top of them. We need to keep an edge to their game. You can make the mistake sometimes of leaning off them a little bit.We need to keep that physical aspect to our game. So we need to lean a little bit on them Tuesday and Wednesday and then again Friday and Saturday."
He was full of praise for the performance on Saturday, adding: "I think it really made a difference because the way we were pressing at Orient at the end was just non-stop. It was a fantastic effort from the players."

Injury concern for keeper

Darren Ferguson was playing down the seriousness of the groin injury that caused Ian Lawlor to be substituted at half time of Saturday's away game at Leyton Orient, with Marko Marosi, just back from injury, getting his first taste of action for several weeks.
Ferguson revealed: "“Ian’s just felt his groin and it was getting worse so he couldn’t really kick. We’ll look at Ian and hope he’s fine. I’m pretty optimistic he will be, it’s just a niggle on his groin, I wouldn’t anticipate he’ll be out for next week. Marko came on and was a wee bit rusty. He was fine, he didn’t have much to do

Why Plymouth Argyle have not seen the last of Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth

PLYMOUTH Argyle supporters who thought they had seen the last of Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth this season are in for a surprise.

The Pilgrims have already played both of their League Two games against Wycombe.

However, Ainsworth will be one of the pundits for Sky Sports in their live coverage of second-placed Argyle's trip to leaders Doncaster Rovers on Sunday.

Ainsworth will be joined by Sky's regular EFL pundit Peter Beagrie for the game at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday.

Scott Minto will be the presenter of the broadcast, which starts at 2.30pm on Sky Sports 1 – 15 minutes before the kick-off.

The commentators will be Gary Weaver and David Prutton, the former Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Leeds United midfielder.

Hello everyone

First can I introduce myself I am the Supporter Liaison Officer at Doncaster Rovers. I am here just to post a quick message and some information regarding your visit to the Keepmoat Stadium.

On Sunday the Plymouth fans will be allocated our North Stand, which holds around 3300 fans. If you travel without a ticket, you will be able to purchase these from our 'Club Doncaster Academy' which is located next to the away end. Myself and the stewards will be able to direct you if you need help.

Parking is available at the stadium in car park 3 at the price of £5.

Once you have arrived at the Keepmoat there will be food and drink available in the ground. If you would like a drink and a bite to eat before you enter the ground, then the away fans are welcome in the Belle Vue Bar (named after our former ground) which is located at the West Stand. We have some fantastic offers available of a pie & a pint for just £5 or 2 pints for £6! You can also try our very own Doncaster Rovers beer! Also known as Rovers1879.
