I know two people have definitely applied for the roles - though I'm not convinced the Trust do.

"The Trust will keep on keeping on" said Bob in October 2015 after I had identified there appeared to be an issue attracting new, and keeping old, board members.

Well you got that wrong Bob and under your watch it looks like you have destroyed the Trust.

It's  amazing how much good will one person can lose over such a short period.
The recent silence routine is nothing short of a disguise for keeping his nose clean up at the manor. One sees it in many walks of life.

As the "authorities" force clubs to engage in more supporter involvement, so many clubs will try and annexe their respective trusts by the back door.

incompetent leadership shown from day one when he folded under pressure over his spotlight interview. I knew then the trust was going to die and the fool did nothing to prove me wrong.

Whoever takes over if the trust does carry on despite bobs best efforts to kill it has a mammoth task on their hands.

Disbanded for certain. I sent a very polite private message to Bob Foale via Messenger which was read and completely ignored.
Anything but disbanded then an answer had to be forthcoming.

Bob's cover story is he won't be hostage to internet fan forums. Couldn't be more club-like and Dunsfordesque if he tried. Very Happy
Whoever wanted an ex headmaster to chair a grass roots FANS' interest group, for that's what trusts are, needs their heads examining.

Still nothing? If Steely or Bob can't provide an update do any of the other Board members want to step up and provide an update to concerned members of the Trust?

If nothing else, you'd have thought they'd have been concerned by the number of people of renewing. Unless the plan all along was to let the Trust die.

Like everything else to do with Argyle, village mentality prevails.  May as well close down the lot.

I don't think I can be bothered with the AGM anymore now.
Got better things to do with my precious time in January.

It is a strange world when you have the president elect of the USA twittering away to his heart's content, and yet the chair of a parochial football fans' trust won't lower himself to communicate online  with concerned members regarding the state of the green nation. I think the message is quite clear.

There's different castes of vileness. Free chat is vile, but hasn't been excommunicated, yet.
Give it another year if Bob remains in situ spoofing. By then he will have capitulated entirely.

I know exactly the line that is going to be taken once some sort of statement is made. I take it this new Trust board doesn't understand the democratic concept of representation and official opposition, while having the interests of the "nation" at heart. It's being trashed, and freaks and weirdos are to be marginalised, vilified and disenfranchised. It's so corny.

How else do you keep a banker honest ? I watched the still great It's a wonderful Life over this holiday period. You never ever let a property interested banker off the hook. Never.
