Club statement: Review of staffing

Chairman Julian Tagg has issued the following statement after queries were raised with regards to a redundancy of a member of staff at St James Park.

The statement is as follows: “The club board has undertaken a 360 review of the staffing, which has been going on for the last six months, with the assistance of outside professional help, and staff were made aware of the process before the start of the season.

"Our business faces constant challenges and changes in terms of new demands and skill sets – we’ve got a new development coming up with health and safety aspects and there are constant challenges. Obviously, I can’t speak about individuals and any redundancy is regrettable, but we’re in a position where the business needs to progress, with those aspects and considerations in mind.

Trust Board Discusses Paul Tisdale’s Managerial Performance

At the regular Trust Board meeting held yesterday the current managerial performance of Paul Tisdale was discussed. Following an email campaign by users of Exeweb.com that the Trust Board did discuss these matters, the Trust Board have issued a statement:-

The Club’s home form and league position were key topics for discussion at tonight’s Trust Board meeting. Trustees considered letters from a number of members expressing new_scoreboarddissatisfaction with current results. The Trust Board shares these concerns and stressed the need for improvement to Club Board Chairman Julian Tagg.

Saturday’s game at home to Doncaster Rovers was the Grecians seventh defeat in League 2 at St James Park, and to date they’ve gained just the one point at home, one of the poorest records in the English Football League. There is clear frustration and dissent within the Club’s fanbase, which both the Trust Board and the Club Board need to attend to. The Club currently lies in 23rd place in the table.

The Club now has two away games, before they entertain Luton Town at home on Saturday 26th November, a team they’ve already lost at home to, in the FA Cup.

That statement is an absolute masterpiece of saying nothing, but taking three paragraphs to do so.

Apparently an outside consultant has been employed to get rid of a few part time employees, because things that make all the difference when you are paying your management staff £250,000 a year. lol!

Having run out of tippy tappy midfielders to scam Swansea into paying for, only to sit in their reserves and by not getting a jammy cup draw this year things aint looking good!
